Help- can you forward this info to TenTec or give me an email address?

My Scout is acting weird- on 20 meters, I was observing horrible S9 QRM-
rather like a loud motorboat sound. This was a problem that would appear
intermittently and then disappear. After a few hours of operation, it has
now become continuous. I had thought that this was QRM at my QTH and I had
hooked up DSP and an Antenna Noise Canceller. The ANC did very little
(dropped noise to S7) and the DSP knowcked it out, but no signal either. I
realized the sound was coming from within the Scout.
Flipping the tune switch on would momentarily make it go away, but now
its continuously there on 20m. I switched to 40m, and it was gone.
However, I do observe it momentarily on 40 as well and am concerned
because this is how the 20M problme started. I think that something is
causing the band module to go bad and oscillate- is this reasonable?
Anything I can do to fix my 20m module?

 Your help is appreciated!

Tnx es 73s,

Govind (VU3GRX/KA3RTE)
