[TenTec] Mike for Omni VI plus

I have recently ordered an Omni VI plus. I have also ordered a D-104
crystal mike. The order taker said that it had an "amplified" base.
Conversations with a local ham with a D-104 have led me to believe that an
amplifier is not a good thing on the D-104. Comments.
