I'd like to hear from others who have built the T-Kit QRP kits, either
the 40-meter Model 1340 or 30-meter 1330.

I just finished building the 1340. Ten Tec has a great instruction
manual and I had no problems. It worked the first time! It really has a
hot receiver and I've had many good signal reports in the first 5
contacts I've made. I measured my power output at 4.9 watts with 13.8
volts and about 2 watts with 12-volt lantern battery.

It'd be nice to have a narrow CW filter, but for the money, this is the
best QRP rig I've ever operated (other than Argonaut!). Sure beats an
HW-8 and other direct conversion rigs.

What do the rest of you think?
