Hi Reid, thanks for the comments:

Thanks for the encouragement and nice to hear that from an ex-Heathkit
employee. As far as the shipping dates go, you've got it right:
we'd rather be happy before it goes out than have disappointed hams later.
We will admit to occasionally being a little over optimistic with
announced availability dates, but most new items come in on schedule
(like the 220 MHz kit and Centaur amp did, most recently). We *will* have
more kits coming out in the spring and summer, but nothing we will disclose
yet. No, it won't be a solid state HF amp. Uh, how's that for a tease?

> Hmmm, has Ten Tec ever thought about maybe coming up with T-shirts, coffee
> mugs, hats, and such for us fanatics to buy? I'd be interested.

Yes, we have. We currently sell a mesh back, embroidered baseball cap
with the Ten-Tec logo for $10.00 plus shipping (U.S. manufactured and
stitched, though not by us). We have kicked around other merchandise
ideas but have no plans to come out with anything else at this time.

> Thank you again Ten Tec and keep up the great work. I'm a TEN TECer for

It can be like preaching to the choir on the Ten-Tec Reflector,
but thanks again.

See you all the NAQP CW contest this Saturday, Jan. 11.
