Not enough memories for all 9 bands. Several memories are needed to
cover 160 and 80. So you run out of memories and start overwrighting the
old ones then you end up reprograming it upteen times until the poor
thing is so confused it doesn't know what to do and it just sets there
and hums. So you do a reset to get it aligned again and start the
process all over again. 

I can outrun it with my manual tuner
