The upgrade of the server for the TenTec Mail Reflector and others
continues...
A couple of changes you should know about:
1. When posting to the TenTec Mail Reflector (as well as other reflectors
at contesting.com) make sure that you send the message **TO**
<tentec@contesting.com>. Do not **CC** your posting to the reflector... If
you CC your posting it will automtically bounce into the bit bucket with no
further action.
2. TenTec as well as the other <contesting.com> mail reflectors used to be
located on the <akorn.net> server... For the last few months the reflectors
have been on the <contesting.com> server. Please check the addresses in
your mail program to make sure you are not using the old <akorn.net>
addresses - anything sent to them will now automatically bounce. The
TenTec FAQ at <www.contesting.com/tentecfaq.htm> contains the correct
addresses.
Postings should go to <tentenc@contesting.com>.
Subscribing and unsubscribing requests should go to
<tentec-request@contesting.com>.
Just a reminder -- if you change Internet Providers or change your Mail
address, please unsubscribe your old account. To do this, using your old
account, send a message to <tentec-request@contesting.com> with
unsubscribe as the single word message text .... if you need help or
have a question, please contact me... I would much rather straighten out a
mail problem ahead of time than receive days and days of mail delivery
error messages.
Thanks for your help,
Ed Guzis, W9TW <w9tw@contesting.com>
