Sorry about the confusing message I sent out there abut the keyer
for a TT555. I want to thank everyone for the info. I had the keyer and
paddle confused as being the same thing. I actually am looking for a paddle
since the 555 has a built in keyer allready. Thanks to all of you for
educating me and for the info you gave me on paddles. Now I have a better
idea of what to shop for.
--Does anyone have a used paddle that they would like to sell?

**** Now a QRP question:
I understand that I can turn my scout down to 5 watts and go QRP but I also
understand that the argo scout is better tuned somehow to operate at this
lower power. My question is, will the 555 still operate well at 5 watts or
does that throw it too far out of ....it's designed operating mode?

Thanks for listening to all my "new HAM" questions!!!
