About a month or two ago, there was a thread dealing with the Heil elements
on the Omni and increasing the gain on the mic amp circuit so the mic gain
would not need to be maxed out and the VOX would work better. I telephoned
TT and they advised me which two resistors to change and their values. I
then posted that information here on the reflector.

Last night I was going to change the resistors since I had the radio open to
install another filter, and I came to find out that I lost the information I
posted! Guess I'm not so organized after all.

If someone could E-mail the mod directly back to me, I would be most
appreciative.

Tnx in advance,
Rick Andren N9THC
