[TenTec] 243 remote vfo problem

Does the 243 remote vfo work on the Omni C ??
Reason, I had this hooked up on an Omni D and it worked beautiful.
Just sold the "D" and now have an Omni C and it does not work nor do the
panel 
lights light up on the vfo.  Perhaps this is the wrong vfo for the "C" ??
If so, I will have one to sell.  Thanks guys....Steve
