It looks like I need to clarify a typo in my earlier post this morning.

The 405 amplifier is made to go with the Ten-Tec Argonaut -- not the
Argosy  -- as I stated.

The amp requires about 5 W of drive power to produce an input power of
100 W  (13 V at about 8 amps), which in turn gives 50 W of output power,
or about 50% efficient, which is typical of a linear amp.

Sorry for any confusion.

It is still available for $225, plus shipping from Ohio.
