[TenTec] The 555 Scout.

I would appreciate any comments from Scout 555 users on the following.

i) Do they find the transmit (ssb) frequency drifts when they use a power
supply source less than 13.8 volts?

ii) What have been the cures for the drift on high speed CW?

iii)Has anyone come up with a mod to over come the lack of an rf gain control?

iv)Which microphones seem to suit the rig best, apart from the standard hand
held which comes with it?

v) Has anyone used it with an amplifier? Comments?
