[TenTec] Synchronous Detection

I have a Tentec 1254 on order so am also interested in the synchronous
detection.  It appears that the QST article regarding synchronous
detection is largely duplicated in the 1996 ARRL handbook (and perhaps
others).  Look up
AM: Synchronous Detection (pg. 15.32 in my 1996 handbook).
