[TenTec] OMNI VI & transverter

I think I read on this reflector that the Omni VI can be modified at Ten
Tec for a very reasonable fee to operate a transverter.  I would like
someone who has had this done to give me some info on how the
modification works.  Any info on electrical or mechanical aspects of the
modification are welcome.  Thanks.
