Thanks to all who responded to my note about ham radio manufacturers. Some
of the responses were very illuminating and helpful. I am so grateful to
Ten Tec and MFJ. Between then you can find a great enthusiasm for amateur
radio. The kits that both offer are great ways to introduce kids to ham
radio. Two or three of these kits to your local scout group might just be
the ticket.
