Casey,
Very improtant!  You ALWAYS have to test the power supply first before jumping
to any other cause of problems.  Any number of things can happen, one leg of
diode bridge going out, regulator opening up, capacitor filter problems, look
for ripple and see that voltage is correct, that current is being delivered as
per needs of rig, and regulation is in force.
