[TenTec] Omni-D

The Omni-D (and C) have a problem working the 18 MHz band. The C has the
crystal position, but one of its mixer outputs is around 9 MHz. The second
harmonic of that mixer gets amplified and comes on out the antenna output
resulting in all sorts of spurious emission. Ten Tec said the cure is to
get a different radio, but perhaps some sort of low-pass filter might work
at the mixer output. I do not know if the Omni-D even had the switch
position for the 18 MHz band. Best of luck to your friend!
