The aurora has finally subsided. 2 full weeks of solid northern lights
have decimated communications here, and I'm sure the lower 48
has felt the effects.
For the VHFers on here, who would like to track the aurora for
openings on 28 mHz and above, the URL is the auroral radar in
Anchorage. The format is simple. The higher the radar return,
the whiter the plot. Black is no aurora. The physical location of
the aurora is on the vertical axes.
