What a FANTASTIC idea!! The TenTec kit line-up would be perfect!
Shortwave rx kits, monoband cw rigs, some nice station accessories, and the
vhf/uhf rig for new upgrades. Tie these in with the license manuals sold
at Radio Shack, and a whole new batch of hams could be gently directed to
TenTec. The scout could also be retailed at RS, and would be essentially
of no use to the " ten-four good buddies."

HEY TEN-TEC, ARE YOU LISTENING?????

When promulgating your esoteric cogitations or articulating your
superficial sentimentalities and amicable philosophical and psychological
observations, beware of platitudinous ponderosity. Let your verbal
evaporations have lucidity, intelligibility, and veracious vivacity without
rodomontade or thespian bombast. Sedulously avoid all polysyllabic
profundity, pompous propensity, and sophomoric vacuity.

In other words, KISS (keep it simple etc.)
