[TenTec] OMNI -C Problem

I have bought an OMNI C, the problem it can't hear on some occasions, it
sounds like a clicking sound and then it really hears, with case off If I
touch an wire to PC/mounted wafer switch on the RX trimmer board it sounds
like an normal receiver if I take my finger off it Deaf ears again signals
sound like their attenuated about -60db.

an quick clues?
