[TenTec] Scout+VFO

I noticed an ad in QST for a card for a PC that provides DC to 50 MHZ out
at +10dbm (or something like this) for about 170 bucks. Could this signal
be used in the Scout in place of the PTO so one would have a bit more
control of the frq?
