[TenTec] 250 Hz Filter Comments

The first time I used the 250 filter in a contest I thought my antennas fell
down...
Unless I was tuned to a station, I heard zip.....The 500kc and 250 kc filter
combo is great for S&P but too tight for running a frequency... actually the
1.8 filter..can be useful on CW...
I find it of marginal use on SSB...
BTW anyone ever get the most CT version to work with the OMNI VI+ ???
