Ten Tec Sales acknowledged my Omni order this morning.
Will ship tomorrow,  Tuesday,  with all the filters installed,
via Fed Ex Economy.  Good chance the rig will be
delivered here on Kauai on Friday ---  Hoo-Haw!!

Mentioned my concern about the stability of my Corsair II;
Scott,  W4PA,  responded as follows:

"We still use a crystal mixed receiver, as with the Corsair II, except
the Omni uses a short run PLL loop rather than a PTO.  Better
stability, better accuracy, better rx sensitivity as a result. "

Wow,  even lower noise!
