[TenTec] Scout-TR interface problem

HI to all on the list.

I have just built the interface for connecting my computer using the TR
logging program to my T/T Scout in preparation for operating from
4-Corners this next weekend.  The set- up works great when connected to
my Kenwood 570S.

It does not work with the T/T Scout.  When I turn on the computer the
Scout keys down.  I think the  problem is connected to the statement in
the Scout manual stating " with a key line that rests at positive
voltage."  Can I just reverse the connections to the plug or does the
interface circuit need a redesign??

I'd greatly  appreciate any help you can offer??
