[TenTec] Argosy 2 = ASR-1?

I was recently glancing through an old Sept. 1983 QST. On page 127 is 
an advertisement for an Amp Supply Model ASR-1 transceiver. It looks 
exactly like the Argosy 2 (digital) except the name Amp Supply Co. is 
under the meter where Ten-Tec Argosy II is on the Ten-Tec radio(see 
Ten-Tec ad on page 147). It has same specs, dimensions, everything.

My questions: Did Ten-Tec make this radio for Amp Supply to sell under 
its trade name? Does anybody out there own the ASR-1 or have ever seen 
one?
