Hi Jim,  Yes, the 288 is the 1.8 Khz 6.3 Mhz filter for the Corsair II.  If
I remember correctly, the first IF of the Corsair is 9 Mhz;  the Corsair I
supplied with a  4 pole 2.4 Khz filter and the II supplied with an 8 pole
filter.  One can upgrade either filter.  I used a 218  that worked very well
for me.  In the later Omni V & VI these filters became selectable.  Vin
