Actually, your premise is incorrect. With a 250Hz wide filter centered =
on 750Hz tone, installed in the N1 or N2 position, and with a low offset =
frequency such as 400HZ, you'll find great attenuation introduced due to =
the received signal passing through the slope of the filter skirt.=20

Try it. Tune in a 400Hz received tone that way.

of
the 750hz offset filters?
