[TenTec] Model 253 Tuner Questions

I am interested in a Model 253 automatic antenna coupler and I'd like to get
some user  feedback.  I currently have a Model 238 that matches the Hercules
II perfectly. But an automatic tuner would really complete my station.  (Yes
I know my wife says I'm getting old and lazy).

If you own a 253 are you happy with it?  Had any problems or complaints?
Know of anyone who might be interested in parting with one??
