below is an E-mail I think didn't get to the list, but again since Jim's
great wizzardtry, I'm all connected again.
In any case I wantedto share my thoughts on the RX-320. I think you TT fans
have gather that I am obviously thrilled with my Omni-V, but now see how
the RX-320 and now Pegasus are have found their place.
Please read on and please comment good or bad. I like to read all the
comments on this list. You guys are great!

>Ok now for the rx-320.
>I absolutely love this little rcvr. I wanted something that had direct key
entry or some means for me to know where I was on a band. I had a Kenwood
r1000 that was a very nice rcvr, but I didn't know where I was.
>So, in any case I decided to try the 320 and see what was what. Well the
whole setup was done in no time flat. The softeware went in without any
hiches and worked very nicely with my screen access software. The rcvr is
very quiet and all the dsp filtering works like the filters in my Omni, but
yes they sound different. Not sure how to explain this, but no
amplification of noise that you can sometimes find in crystal filters.I
dont' know if that makes sense, but that's how best to explain it.
>In any case the only complaint I had was that nearly all the commands like
switching from cw to usb etc. can be done from the keyboard, you can't
engage this or that filter without clicking on it.
>I wouldn't mind seeing TT add this ability to their software. However, you
can do nearly everything else from the keyboard. Ok, well saving your
stations etc. require a mouse click, but that could be added to the
software as well.
>Overall, this is a great rcvr and I especially like the fact you can
connect it to your sound card. This is good for me because I use screen
access software which can speak via a hardware synth or software synth
which uses a part of the Sounblaster Live card. What is nice is I can have
the software synth running and pipe the rcvr in via the card as well thus
use one pair of haeadphones for listening.
>Life couldn't be better. Now to find a means to pipe the Omni-V in and
life would be really sweet.<g>

>so, there's my pennies worth.
