The thing I keyed into was the "multiband vertical" - if that's the only
antenna, and you want to cover both CW & SSB band segments, you'll have
some bandwidth problems on 80/40 meters (and possibly 20); in this case
I'd opt for the Omni 5/6/Paragon/etc. types as you'll be working into a
"bad" SWR when out of resonance, and most other rigs will fold back without
an antenna tuner. Use an antenna tuner and the warranty/traps on the
multiband vertical might (both) fold. Just an observation.
