[TenTec] Scout on 6m?

Has anyone ever tried to put the Scout on 6m by modifying (or creating)
a band module?  Does someone out there with some knowledge about the
design of the Scout have an opinion on whether it would be feasible?  I
know, there are transverters out there that do the job; it's just that
it would be nice to work 6m without another box.
