[TenTec] Report back on my Omni V repair results...

In case anyone is interested, here are the repair results of the somewhat
peculiar problem I was having with my Omni V.

I was getting overall poor reception sensitivity which was also very
intermittent. Some days the reception was very poor, no signal anywhere over
S5, most signals under S2, and other days reception was non-existent.

Ten-Tec had the radio for just a day or two over two weeks (as I recall),
and returned it quite promptly. I got the feeling they are cranking them out
just as fast as they can. They didn't even call me to tell me they had sent
it. I found out on a Friday that they had sent it back the previous Monday.

The notes on the invoice indicate that they "replaced the RX-TRX switch on
the back panel which was making poor contact". They "repaired the
intermittent connection on the 220 filter." They "set the BFO frequencies,
RX alignment, and calibrated the S meter."

Overall I'm pleased with the results. The radio works quite well now,
everything I had expected.
