Roy,

Removing Connector 52 simply disables the Omni's sidetone "wrap-around" =
circuit which consists of a highly click-prone CMOS 4066 quad bilateral =
switch.  The side tone is still adjustable by way of the "ST" button on =
your front panel.

layout diagramsfor the Omni VI+ it has to do with Sidetone. What else =
does it do? I disconnected mine and the sidetone is better sounding and =
no audio clicks. Does anyone else know anything else RE: connector 52?
