As much as I hate to admit it, maybe there is a good buy in the Pegasus PC
rig. That is by going to one of the web sites, or local computer stores that
will sell used PC's. I just heard of web sales of used Pentium 1's for $133,
without monitor, but otherwise complete, not just a Mother board. A used 66
MHz Compaq PC was going for $30.

Monitors turn up in OEM surplus, or used sales too, at attractive prices.

One thing that had me little interested in PC radio, was the space the PC plus
transceiver boxes takes on the operating desk, or under it. And the
keyboard/Monitor. When you already have 14 or so radios in the shack, these
are real issues, :-)

When is some ham radio vendor going to bring out a really low cost flat screen
display? :-)
