FS: Ten-Tec, Golden Titan 425 Amp, Series 5
Ten-Tec built a last production of Titan 425 amps and to my knowledge
made about 50. These were labeled with a gold plaque and gold
Ten-Tec emblem and therefore the Golden Titan nickname.
The Titan uses a pair of Eimac 3CX800A7 and has a listed output of
1500 Watts. It puts out more than the legal limit. Whats great about
this amp is that it has a separate RF Deck and Power Supply which allows
the power supply to be placed on the floor and the RF deck on your desk.
The RF deck matches the Omni VI, Omni V, Paragon height and cosmetics.
These pieces are in like new condition and includes the original manual.
I think when you compare the price of this amplifier against others in
its class there are few to speak of and the others are much more expensive.
The transformer is a Hypersil made by Ten-Tec.
$2,100 plus shipping. The transformer comes out for shipping and therefore
there will be 3 boxes total.
Thanks;
