Though a bit outdated, it still makes very interesting reading:
go to the Sherwood Engineering website to find the receiver
specs comparison to the Sherwood modified Drake R-4C.  It is
interesting to note that the stock R-4C did not do very well
(near the bottom of the list!) in many specs, though the 
fully modified one was quite good (at the top).  Some 
receivers came out quite well like the Ten Tec Corsair I
and the Kenwood TS-830S.  Anyway, interesting reading, and
I believe Sherwood had a column with the dynamic range 
testing, though I can't swear to it right now.
