Aloha Steve,

And thankyou for your two notes.  I now have the baud
rate set to 9600,  default unchecked.  Omni is also set
to 9600.

Under the FAQ's section,  at the bottom are instructions
on how to get some info out,  print it,   and email back
to the DX4WIN guys.

Also found this paragraph under the ICOM and Ten Tec
section:

"The transceive function has to be disabled for DX4WIN
to operate correctly. The transceive function will announce
a new frequency or mode as soon as the change occurs,
 interfering with other data coming from the radio. Consult
your radio manual how to disable the transceive funtion."

Not at all sure what this is about,  unless it is referring
to the Ten Tec CdE menu item: Enable/Disable of the
Continuous Data Echo mode.
