Pete,

I had a Paragon for a couple of years before I upgraded to a Paragon II. =
My original was notorious for "PLL out of lock" message being =
displayed, at which time it had to go back to the factory. After 2 or 3 =
of these, I upgraded to the Paragon II.

    Hi TenTec Users,
   =20
I have been looking to add a second TenTec rig to the station, aside =
from the Pegasus which I have. I have looked at possibly a Triton 544 or =
Omni D version C--they are hard to come by or cost more than I can =
afford. But now I have found at least 5 Paragons at three different =
places and wonder if they are any good? The fact that five are available =
makes me think they might be Turkeys. How does a Paragon stand up to an =
Omni D version C? Yeah, I know what Paragon means; but is that =
advertising or something for real.

PS. I couldn't afford the Triton 544 which was offered at $425 --but =
I can still dream.
