i just acquired a ten tec centurion. before i connect up or try cw on it, i want to ask the correct way to hook up the 570 which has its own keyer. the centurion manual shows how to hook up a cw key to the qsk circuit, but not a paddle. the internal keyer in the ts570
seems to work fine using the vox/ptt relay directly, the same as keying a mike or using vox. the centurion manual also explains how to hook up the output of an external keyer to the qsk circuit but makes no mention of using a rig with an internal keyer. since the
ptt/vox plug is used in conjunction with external keyers, can i conclude that the qsk board can be bypassed if the relay timing
in the rig exceeds the centurion timing?

tnx fer help
