About,

"hello
i wish when ten tec makes the omni 7, it will have an option like
this: a switch that will allow the operator to choose between a transmit
and receive antenna on the front of the rig. on the rear of the rig, two
antenna inputs for coax, which can be used for either transmit and
transmit antenna's or transmit and receive antenna's. in one mode (for
example) the operator can instantly choose from a yagi to a vertical in
the transmit mode. or for the low bands like 160 and 80 meters, the
operator can be listening on the recieve antenna (and using the qsk),
and
instantly move back to the transmit antenna when he either keys his
paddle
or the microphone.
i am new to ham radio and there may already be new transcievers
that have this option, but i do not know. i have heard that one of the
JAPAN RADIO CO. rigs can do this, but i have not seen it.
i quess i could look at the drake's and collin's for these
features.
many thanks to all es 73's"

Bill,

I think I have decifered the above. The OMNI-6+ already has a jack on
the back for a transmit antenna, and a separate jack for a receiving
antenna, and a switch on the front panel to select or deselect the
separate, auxilliary receiving antenna instantly while transmitting into
the transmit antenna. And yes, this happens during QSK.
