[TenTec] Pegasus Programming and other items of wishful nature

I asked about USB when I saw the Pegasus in Sevierville. One of the
engineers is running the Pegasus via a USB serial port adapter.

The Pegasus does not have a special interface. It is simply a asynchronous
serial link.

Since (my understanding is tha)t the Pegasus software is done in VB (perhaps
an older version since 16 bit is apparently supported, any serial port which
is supported by the operating system should be OK.

So the real question is whether you have a serial port sitting on the USB
with a driver which is compliant with what ever operating system you are
using.

Or am I missing something.
