[TenTec] Replies for Omni VI+ Service

Yes, I agree. It IS annoying. And mine does the same thing. I took
it back to Ten-Tec to have it put back on freq (which was right on
the money when I got it, and was told that that was within specs.
But they took it and ran it through their check-out and it was
right back on frequency when I got it home.

Woe is me! It is off again another .020 or so in the readout on
all bands.

I hope someone has an answer for Duffy (and me).

Funny you should talk about frequency stability. My Omni 6+ is
about a year
old. During the day it sits on 14.230 copying SSTV pictures.
Within the
past month I noticed it stopped receiving pictures. Upon
investigation, the
receiver seems to have drifted off frequency. To receive 14.230,
the
receiver now has to be tuned to 14.229.80. It is the same on all
bands.
3.865 is now 3.864.80. This is really annoying. Anyone know an
easy way to
align? I have no test equipment.
