Hello All
This "Fix" may not appeal to everyone --- but I've found that a mixture of
silicone spray lube and 3 in 1 Oil brings the worn out encoders back to
life. Just a couple drops worked in around the shaft makes mine operate
better than when it was new.

Also repaired one for a friend that was so ruff it was trying to lock up.
Sure beats $50 for a new one, even if you have to oil it every few months.
