[TenTec] OMNI D and Scout noise blanker

Hi-
  I am a past and present owner of Ten Tec Scouts and OMNI's. My
experience is that the OMNI noise blanker does not do anything for me in
a fixed location. I have not operated an OMNI mobile.
  The Scouts are operated mobile and portable. Their noise blanker is
fantastic on ignition noise in the truck and fan noise in the camper.
Signals go from non-readable to Q5 on CW. The scout filter is easily
tunable for your particular frequency of noise.
