Gentlemen,
  What ya think?

It had been a rough week,
I was snoozing in my chair,
When I heard on my roof,
What I thought was reindeer.

I jumped to my feet,
Out on the lawn I ran,
Looked upon the roof,
There stood a man.

It wasn't Cris Kringle,
It wasn't his deer,
It was the next door neighbor,
His rage was clear.

The roof was steep,
Hard for him to stand,
He had climbed up there,
With wirecutters in his hand.

Headed toward my coax,
His intention to cut,
A lump in my throat,
A knot in my gut.

I'd been in his T.V.
His stereo, his phone,
But he didn't know,
That radio is now gone.

I reasoned with him,
It soon became clear,
He now understood,
My new TEN-TEC was here.

He put down his cutters,
Climbed down off the house,
Apologized to me for
Being such a grouch.

I now run my TEN-TEC,
1500 watts plus,
My neighbor doesn't call,
My neighbor doesn't cuss.

I wondered why,
I picked up the phone,
"The radio must be nice,
The interference is all gone."

I walked in the shack,
My heart in a race,
I love my TEN-TEC,
I gave it an embrace.

Turned out the lights,
On my face a grin,
Turned around,
GOOD NIGHT, MY FRIEND.

Just for fun, NW4P Richard
