[TenTec] RX320 problem..

Any ideas on the following:

I have been using it to monitor a fixed frq for daily recording. Basically
on all the time. After a few weeks I decided to tune around so I put the
laptop in the docking station and brought up the RX320 program. No effect!
I cycled the power on the rx, the station it was tuned to was no longer
there and the program still had no control. I tried all the obvious things
and eliminated the audio chain as a problem by doing a sweep. Nothing
displayed on the sweep display so it seems nothing is coming from the rx or
nothing is going to it. Has anyone seen this failure mode?
