Go to http://www.harbach.com and to the SB-220 Repair and Upgrade Items.
Then look at the SB-220 'Soft Key.'  That circuit enables the tranceiver to
key the SB-220 seeing only 0.7 volts at 1.5 milliamperes.  That will keep
the Ten-Tec relay contacts from pitting from switching such high current
spikes as the SB-220 generates when keyed.

This is true for ALL Ten-Tec rigs.
