[TenTec] "Tidbit" for the 526

Glad to hear that the 526 is back on track!  Funny, I was cleaning out my
e-mail yesterday and ran across the last announcement on the list.  It's
dated 2/12/99 and had the same basic wording about the release time and
Dayton display.  Almost exactly 1 year.  Here's the snippit:

  We will have the radio on display at Dayton.  Projected availability
  (assuming no unforseen delays due to type acceptance or part 
  procurement issues) is June 1999.  We are not taking orders or 
  offering this unit for sale at this time. 

It's been a long wait and I hope to finally see it ship.  I may finally join
the ranks and be a TenTec owner...not that I haven't tried...
