[TenTec] 249 Noise Blanker install/remove

I want to remove a 249 Noise Blanker plug-in board from my 544 (Triton IV).  
When I just pulled it out, there seems to be a major loss of sensitivity.  I 
put it back in and the 544 functions normally again.  Wondering if there's 
some jumpers or other connections that must be restored when I remove the 
249 so that the 544 will function properly without the 249?  Any help 
greatly appreciated.
