[TenTec] Omni 6 upgrade question.

Would anyone know why Ten Tec would have not reconnected up connectors 31
and 32 on the 9mhz IF board,
when upgrading to Plus? Even the tie wraps were secured in such a way that
the cables will not reach the connectors.
Was this required as part of the upgrade?
