[TenTec] heater question

 Tried posting this a day or so ago, and haven't seen it yet. I get the
reflector in digest format, don't know if that has anything to do with it,
but here we go again.
 Anyone have any idea of the life expectancy of the crystal heater in the
Omni VI+ ? Wonder if turning the PS on & off actually is more strain than
leaving it on. Any thoughts on this subject from the group? Just
wondering... got bored I guess. Reply to the reflector.
